At Technet, our mission is to support you in achieving your full potential as a technical trainer and presenter. Our comprehensive range of services includes training in presentation and instructional skills, one-on-one coaching and mentoring, and a range of support options tailored to meet the needs of technical trainers and presenters. We’re proud to be a Microsoft-approved vendor for the instructional skills certification, which is a key requirement for those seeking to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
This engaging course will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as a technical trainer. Through interactive sessions, you will learn how to plan and prepare for effective class delivery, utilize various delivery methods and technologies, cater to the diverse learning styles of your students, and assess both student and trainer performance.
As the industry increasingly shifts towards online deliveries, this course will also explore the differences between online, hybrid, and in-person class deliveries, and provide insights into how you can optimize your effectiveness with each type of delivery.
In this course, you will participate in a range of exercises, and be an active participant in group discussions and presentations. You will also have the opportunity to deliver a brief (15-30 minutes) presentation to the class, and receive constructive feedback to help you improve your skills.
We evaluate each learner’s progress throughout the class using feedback from MCT facilitators, other learners, and invited MCTs. If you meet the criteria for approval, you will receive a certificate that can be presented to Microsoft when applying to become an MCT. If not, we will work with you to create an action plan to address any issues and provide guidance to help you succeed. You will then have the opportunity to deliver another teach-back presentation, which will be used to provide feedback and advice on your delivery techniques.
Our classes are offered in both in-person and live remote formats. In-person classes are typically 4 or 5 days in a week and 4 hours a day, while live remote classes run over 4-5 sessions spread across 4 or 5 days in a week and 4 hours a day. 8 to 10 candidates can join each session. Start and end times for classes are scheduled based on the location and time zone of the registered learners.
